This Mini-PROTEAN® 4-gel electrophoresis system is used for casting and running 1.0 mm thickness gels. The system comes with a tank, lid with power cables, 1 electrode assembly, 1 companion running module (to run up to 4 gels), 1 mini cell buffer dam, 2 casting stands, 4 casting frames, 5 10-well combs, and 5 sets of glass plates.
The versatile, easy-to-use Mini-PROTEAN Tetra cell is ideal for vertical mini gel electrophoresis. This electrophoresis cell accommodates 1 to 4 Mini-PROTEAN precast or handcast gels. The Mini-PROTEAN Tetra cell eliminates tedious assembly procedures and has a patented sealing mechanism* that prevents assembly errors during handcasting.
